Green Lipped Mussels grow in the unpolluted coastal waters around New Zealand and feed on the nutrient-rich phytoplankton and minerals in the ocean.

The New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF) monitor the waters from which the mussels are harvested. This ensures that our ingredients are of the purest and highest quality. Green Lipped Mussel is a naturally rich source of glycosaminoglycans and amino acids. Glycosaminoglycans are a family of compounds of which Glucosamine is most well known, Hyaluronic Acid is also a very popular member of this group.

High strength formulation designed to preserve the delicate nutrients

We have sourced a high strength capsule which is made using a freeze-dried extract of Green Lipped Mussel. The freeze drying process stabilises, concentrates and increases the shelf-life of the extract but crucially without destroying its all important chemical structure.

Supports cartilage and bone health

We have added calcium and vitamin C to our formulation. We need Calcium for the maintenance of normal bones, while vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones.
